Several U.S. Air Force KC-135 aerial refuelling aircraft have been spotted at Ramon Airport in Israel amid renewed concerns over the possibility of another conflict with Iran.
The presence of U.S. tanker aircraft in Israel has previously affected civilian operations at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. The use of aircraft parking stands by military tankers reduced flight capacity, while the Israel Airports Authority reported revenue losses amounting to hundreds of millions of shekels.
